Transitions:
The majority of my shots will be straight cuts between shots due to the nature of my music video. However, the shot of Heather laying on the grass with photos around her will be slightly different. I will be doing an extreme close up on the photo and then going into the next shot which will follow on from the still on the floor. To do this I will use a fade transition to make it appear more smooth. The only other different transition I will have is the fade to black at the end of the video. I feel that this will be symbolic of the end of the video and signal a close of the narrative.
Fabulous detail. Perhaps you could add a key to indicate our chosen transitions. I imagine the majority will be cuts, but i see there are a few shots where you mention fades. This needs to be clear.
